Edward Norton

Born abt 1833 he married Ursule Lucie Labatte august 23d 1855 at Ste-Anne Parish in Penetanguishe, Ontario. According to marriage certificate he lived in Michigan and was a sailor. I found both of them on the 1861 Census for Tiny in 1861. Ursule died december 21st 1872 in Quebec City again the death certificat states that he lived in the usa and was a sailor However the husbands name was mentioned as James ( maybe a mistake or the son). In 1859 the had Joseph James Henry Norton, then in 1864 Electa Norton she died 3 months after her birth. On the 1861 census Edward declares being born in Canada but on Electa death certificat he declares being born in the United States. I have not found anything on them before 1855 and after 1864 except for Ursule's death in 1872
