  • Donor at the Gift Evening held for the North Midlands District Hospital in Three Springs on Wednesday 1 May 1929


  • Founding Member of the Three Springs branch of the Country Women's Association in 1929, and Secretary in 1933


  • Helped cater for the Anglican Church's Children's Fancy Dress Ball held in Three Springs on 28 November 1930


  • In 1933 herself and her husband, trading as "E. & A. Stokes" were the proprietors of The Springs Hostel in Three Springs


  • Along with her husband left Three Springs and shifted to Dongara in September 1933


  • Prior to leaving they were given a send-off in Three Springs, to which about 150 people attended, on Saturday 23 September 1933


  • At their send-off they were presented with a cheque from the residents of Three Springs


  • Resided with her husband in the Railway House in Dongara


  • Later resided in Bunbury WA
