I am researching my husband's family tree...his mother was born Alma M Lester born in Singleton..New South Wales.....Australia..her Mother was Alice there was no father mentioned.....
The LESTER that appears in the family tree, timeframe is 1700s Wiltshire England.
Ok, I did a bit of searching, have found one marriage record of an Alice LESTER marrying in 1883 at Sydney NSW to a Joseph SILVER, if that helps.
