Enoch Frederick Charles

My ancestor came to New Zealand in the 1800s from sweden, but I have been unable to find is passage or entry note into NZ I am sure his name was carlsenbjorn or similar before he changed it to charles and he was born in stockholm. If there is anyone with information or suggestions I would be very grateful
