Family Traced Back to John Ingersoll of Huntington Li Looking for Th

Cannot help......just really have begun looking myself...for my grandfather William Hamilton Ingersoll, his brother, CA Ingersoll, and their sister Min or Minnie. I know that Charles died in Texas in 1950, and I believe they were from Nebraska City, Neb. Years ago, I read the Avery book, THE INGERSOLLS IN AMERICA, and I think my family are descendants of John Ingersoll. My branch came to Texas as wildcatters during the 1920's and before that, drilled in many other states. If you or anyone knows anything, or can head me in the right dirction, I would really appreciate it.
