I have family trees for GDE Plunkett junior and GDE Plunkett senior as well as Lamb (Stevenson) (scotland - and some very interesting history on the Gladstone (nee Lamb) immigration to australia) as well as Plunkett married Cambell-Kennedy.

I have some family tree of GDE Plunkett senior for Ireland - Michael Richard Plunkett then Richard Plunkett of Argkeenagh and then Michael Plunkett of Ardkeenagh / Cloonhansville - not at all complete and no guarantee of accuracy.

GDE Plunkett senior was my great-great-grandfather.

My great grandfather was Michael Richard Sarsfield PLUNKETT whose brother was GDE Plunkett junior. You may know they married 2 sisters Emily SMITH and and Florence SMITH who were their 1st cousins.

A few years ago I visited Dunsany Castle in Ireland. Lady Dunsany continually commented that I very much looked like a Dunsany Plunkett. As a thomas and an Australian I was very sceptical; so she took me into the portrait room where my wife and I were instantly convinced - all the portraits from the previous Earls all looked liked my family (males). Lady Dunsany pointed out that I most looked like the very large porrtait of Saint Oliver Plunkett (whose bishop's ring was was on display below the portrait.)
