Finding Patrick Everett
Sentenced to 7 years transportation in Kilkenny Eire March 1848 possibly embarked sometime in 1849 obviously from Ireland however I can find no record of him actually disembarking in Australia. I have found a death entry for Everett in 1896 Victoria B00457-3 flie 1386451 ref ID pg 13 G3 Vict Aus just wondering if this is him.

Searched the Registry of Deaths for Victoria but unable to locate a death for your Patrick EVERETT in 1896.
Where did you obtain Patrick's death from?
You gave the reference number but not the source.
The only Patrick EVERETT I can find died in Tasmania on the 09 June 1848 aged 50 years. If the informant gave the correct age at death this Patrick would have been born circa 1798.

G/day. Thank you for looking must have landed elsewhere in Aus. I obtained the info from National archives Victoria Aus. You are right it is not him he was 27 when transported 1848/9 so was b 1821/22. The other avenue is he died before leaving or in transit?

There were a few convicts named EVERETT sent out to Australia but I'm unable to find one named Patrick. He may be recorded under an alias name.
