Florence Barnden Mother and Alice Plina Barnden Daughter and My Great Grandmother Married Frederick Newald 1914

Hi folks

Trying to trace my Barnden family line on my paternal grandmother's side of the family. My grandmother was Violet Alice Newald born 1916. her mother was Alice Plina Barnden born in Christchurch 1891 to a Florence Barnden. Father not named on birth certificate so Alice was illegitimate. This would have been quite scandalous at the time. Trying to trace Florence Barnden to at least forward that ancestral line as far as I can.
