Charles Hans Forck
Possibly Charles Hans Vogt or Peter Tapsell

Country of origin: Sweden

I remember one stupid Dutchman or Swede, who although a sailor himself, was invariably gulled by this kind of blarney, his name was Charles Hans Forck (sic) and he was residing at Makatu (sic) in the Bay of Plenty in the years 1830 to 1837 and he imagined himself to be white king of the East Coast
