Forrester Left London for Canada Mid to Late 1800s

I would like to locate a relative named Forrester who left England for Canada sometime in the mid to late 1800s.

We know he had raised a family in Canada but do not know their names or who his wife was. He is a relative of my grandfather Thomas Edward Forrester.

When I was a child in England I recall a letter being received by my father (William Forrester - son of Thomas Edward) from Canada indicating that we had relatives in Canada.

My father has since passed on and I do not know what happened to that letter.
