Dear LadyFox and SilentWindSong, Hi there. Below are some websites that I could find. Perhaps you may not have seen some of them?

The Captivation of Eunice Williams. In the timeline section it states that there was a marriage in 1713 to Francois Xavier Arosen, a Kahnawake Mohawk Indian. Amazing website by the way.

Hi Alison,

Thank you very much for the links. I find the Edmund Rice Newsletter very informative. I had not known of that site. The genealogy is very interesting in that I am, by oral history, decended from Eunice Williams and Arosen. I have also married into a family descended from the Rices. Interesting how families cross.

What part of Australia are you from?

Hi SilentWindSong, Glad to be of assistance. I especially thought the Edmund Rice Newsletter would be of interest to you gals.

I live near the Australia Zoo in south east Queensland, the home of our dearly departed Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin. Sniff.

The whole world feels the loss of Steve Irwin. He was so vibrant and did so much for all creatures.

Hi allycat, Thank you for the information. Didn't know any of those sites except for one. I am a decendant of Rev. John Williams, father of Eunice Williams, who was captured and taken to Canada. Haven't had a chance to read all of the info yet, but what i have read is very interesting. Seems like i have found another relative in silentwindsong. Thanks again. sorry of your lose of Steve Irwin. Watched his programs all of the time.

silentwindsong, I saw an earlier posting of yours that you descend from Eunice Willams, the one known as the Unredeemed Captive. She is my first cousin 8 times removed, which would make us cousins. I descend from a brother of the Rev. John Williams.

I have done a lot on research on her line which I'll gladly share with you.

You can contact me directly at mainwold@yahoo.com

I look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,

Michael
