Frederick Edward Nicholls

I am looking for the family of Frederick Edward Nicholls who was born in England around 1860 and came to South Africa. In South Africa, he lived in Stutterheim, Eastern Cape South Africa and was a foreman in the Forestry Department at Fort Cunningham. He married a widow Sophia Margaretha Daschner in 1897. He died in Turffontein Johannesburg on 27 July 1919 and he was a carpenter. Sadly, I do not have much information other than that about him.
