Giles Family from Armidale Nsw Australia

I was hoping some one could help me I am looking on behalf of my father in law, he has a step brother named Mervyn Giles last we can work out he was living in Ayr, Queensland around 1960/74 or so. Mervyn served in the RAAF and RAN, he was born in Armidale NSW Australia in 1926 on the 6th of January he has a brother Jack Giles he has since passed away my father in law's name is Arther "Ted" Newberry, and Mervyn and Arthur's mothers name was Mary Newberry (nee Hayne)if anyone could help me please that would be wonderful my email address is reneenewberry76@gmail.com thanks again

Your best bet, if you think he is still living, would be to look at the current electoral rolls which may be viewed at any commonwealth electoral office.
Last address I can find in the rolls online for Mervyn Giles working as a cane cutter and living at 88 Munro St., Ayr in 1977.
