Dear Teagran: Your branch of Gower's is not connected to mine unless farther back in England. My branch came to Canada around 1835 from Norfolk, England. From the dates you've given I would suggest you research into United Empire Loyalist families. Your's arriving this early could be from the USA, rather than coming from England direct. Many branches of the Gower family go back to the mid 1600's and early 1700's in not only New England ,but the southern states around Virginia, Carolina etc.
Do you still research the Huron County Gowers? William would be my 2nd great grandfather.
