Grant Link to Dobbin

I was born to JOYCE LAURA GRANT on 11th May 1940. Prior to her possible marriage to ?Peter GRANT she was known as Joyce Laura DOBBIN, her father being HARRY DOBBIN married to Emily W. BIRCHENOUGH.
She Registered me as JOHN ALEXANDER - in June the same year.

I have not been able to so far discover a MARRIAGE Certifcate.
However, it seem she was living in Hong Kong between 1934 / 39? and so also was Peter Grant (a Government Officerf) 1921/39
In April 1939 a daughter - Joyce Patricia Grant - was born to them.
Then in the following year I was born.
Grant then divorced his wife Joyce Laura

In 1941 I was put up for adoption and subsequently adopted by William Charles, and Edith Doris GREEN, then living in Starbeck, near Harrogate, yorkshire, England.
