edmondsallan - Hello - I have just finished reading " allycats past journals " The amount of working websites to assist us available is tremendous . After 40 years in genalogy I thought I had a great data base . guess what I have just added another two ( 2 ) from allycat's journals to my own . Don't miss out - Their are couple of things happening on this website that we need to keep tabs on . One is the journals get put back & back and need to be brought forward on a regular basis . The ones we consider to be in a class of their own . I think we could all assist each other on that - just bringing forward the odd one each of from the journals like some of the ones from our editor . I know I am sticking my neck out here . But I think our editor is overloaded in trying to answer questions . Some of them are damn difficult . Yet -- our editor still hands down some excellent advice . I think on some of the menial questions - example " Where do I start " Cant find my grandmother " and has done nothing to help themselves and many more that we have all seen and wonder what the heck !! May I make a respectful suggestion >>>>> lets assist our editor on some of these menial Questions -- give her some space to work in . Its not my place to say these things in helping our website to be greater . However I felt i had to say something having read the work " allycat " does and the questions she answers . I reckon - right or wrong - lets assist her on this smaller stuff that most of us know . What is your opinion on it all ????. Perhaps I sayeth to much - Till we meet again - Regards - edmondsallan
