My mother was Violet L. Hornbeck b. 1928 - 2013. She told me a story that my GGGrandmother was an Indian princess, possibilly Cherokee.
My Grandmother was Lillie Pearl Harris born March 1 1901 in Linn Creek, Cambdin, Missouri d July 7 1965 in St.Louis, Missouri
.Her parents were Newton Harris from Brown,Indiana and Elizabeth Obedia Omara from Perry,Illinois. Lillie was married to Walter Houghland Hornbeck from Illinois, b 1899 died June 1972.
Jacob Wesley Hornbeck was my Great Grandfather and he was married to Elizabeth Ellen Victoria Tingley 1871-1932
Jacob remarried in 1940 to Phoebe Benefiel ( 1870-1952 but her dates are not confirmed)
