I am especially looking for his death and place of rest. His death was not registered in Queensland unless he changed his name, so I am thinking he may have emigrated somewhere.

Hi Waterlil, the last info I could find on him was in a Brisbane newspaper dated 13 July 1926, he was being look for, for desertion and being with another woman, whom in his last statement in the paper stated that both he and this woman were leaving Australia. It seems also that he may have been in trouble with the police too.
Thank you Markav, I did find his divorce in Trove newspapers online, but not that. So it is very likely he died overseas. Oh, well.
