I am looking for information please on the family of Patrick Haslam.
Patrick was born in Dublin,Ireland in 1826.
He was a fencible in the 58th regiment.
He came to New Zealand on the ship Ann.
He married Margaret Fox [daughter of James Fox &Ellen Fox]
Margarets father James was also a fencible.
Patrick and Margaret Haslam had 10 children[7 daughters and 3 sons .
Daughters Catherine Jane,Elizabeth [possibly known as eliza],EMILY,Harriet,ANN,MargaretJulia,

Conwayflat on 2022-10-23 21:46:31Hi, Patrick's brother Edward also came to NZ and was a witness at the wedding of Richard Monk and Margaret Letitia Thompson, my great great grandparents. We are curious to know what the connection was between the Haslams and Mr Monk and Miss Thompson.
You should be able to track the children through the Births Deaths and Marriages government website for NZ. Then on google.
There is a good write up on Patrick on the findagrave website, he was buried at Symonds St, Auckland.
