my HASTINGS relatives came from Yorkshire: mainly parts such as Hull, Stainforth, Doncaster, Hull, Thorne...
I'm researching not only my own immediate line, but others, so if you have HASTINGS (sometimes spelt HASTING) relatives from Yorkshire, we could be connected.

Not sure if its relevant or any other info could be gleaned from it but if you check the "Roll of Honour" September 1916 there is a "Hastings" on that. Sorry to be vague I am just new to this research thing :-)
