Haughey

My grand father, Patrick Haughey Hinds (Walter) Semple was born on 26 April 1897 (67 Scotts Row, Craigneuk, Scotland ) and passed away 2 October 1961 (Botany, New South Wales, Australia ). His father was James Semple and mother Catherine (nee Haughey/ Hoxitt/Haughy) were married 23 November 1887, (some details are difficult to read on a faded PHHS birth certificate which I have saved to Ancestry.)
Patrick’s siblings were John b 1887, James b 1889/90, Mary b 1891, Margaret b 1899, Robert b 1902.
I was wondering whether you have any information or documents on the Semple Family going back through Patrick, James (b 1867), John (father of James b 1823), Walter (father of John) and further back in the lineage?
As far as I’ve been able to gather, Catherine Haughey’s b in Ireland in 1863 and her siblings were –
• Mary b 1860,
• Susanna b 1865,
• Patrick b 1867 d as infant ,
• Sarah b 1868 (Scotland),
• Bridget b 1870 (Scotland),
• Patrick b 1873 (Scotland),
• Michael b 1875 (Scotland),
• James b 1879 (Scotland).
I was wondering whether you have any information or documents on the Haughey Family going back through Catherine (nee Haughey. For example, by the time Catherine was 8 years old the family was living in Scotland. I guess the family moved because of the potato famine.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to a reply .
