Hello janilye, and very many thanks for your message in reply to my Post.I did in fact join the Dumfries and Galloway Family History Society, which until I check it out, will asume it is the same Org. you mentioned . I have posted my interests in one of their recent News letters, but have had no feedback so far.

try some Facebook searches too they can be quite helpful. Find someone local who is interested in genealogy or can point you in the right direction. There are usually little groups and things to contact.
