Gippsland Times, Mon 1 Apr 1935 OBITUARY. Mr. James Brown Hedrick, a very old resident of the Omeo and Benambra districts, passed away at the Omeo Hospital, on March 26. The deceased gentleman, who was 65 years of age, is survived by his wife and a family of two daughters and six sons. The interment took place at the Benambra cemetery, the service at the graveside being conducted by the Rev. Mitchell, of Omeo.
His occupation is listed as a Miner in years 1912, 1916, 1917 and 1922 in the Electoral Rolls (Victoria, Gippsland, Omeo).
