I am researching a James Haining who Married a Martha Tielle d/o Pierre Tielle and Margaret Nicholson.

their issue was

James Peter Hauning b.1888 NZ d. 1958 Aust
Ivon John Robert b 1890 NZ d.1966 NZ
Omega Gordon b. 1893 NZ d. 1915 Egypt
Robert Norman b. 1898 d.1969 Aust
Martha Trilby B 1903 NZ

Hello

The Martha Tribly Haining was supposed to have com eto Australia with her mother and 2 brothers.

I have searched and cannot find a marriage or a death for her. NO RESULT.

Then I was told she changed her name by deed poll to Terese Martha Hall
well there is no record of it in NSW archives sp not sure that is correct either,

There was supposed to be som connection with West Aust. so have to try to prove all this before itis truth.

Can I ask where do you fit in, I have the info regarding Martha Trilby Haining. I am wondering why she changed her name by deed poll whether it's anything to do with her mother possibly marrying robert hall I have not found any marriage for them.

I have just started researching again, my family tree.
I have a James Haining who married a Martha Tielle I have them as having offspring of Teresa Haining 1903-1981 who is a direct ancestor of my wife. Are these the same people as yours. If so, I would love to share information.
