Henry Edgecombe 1840 1850 Killed IN the Battle of Mahoetahi New Zealand

On the 6th of November 1860 Major-General Pratt and about 600 of his troops marched to Mahoetahi in New Plymouth.
Waiting for them were about 400 Maori led by Te Wetini Taiporutu - and so began the BATTLE of MAHOETAHI
