I am researching my family and have a problem with GT. Gt. Grandfather Henry Thomas. He was born in 1843 the son of William Thomas and Thomasin Nichols I believe. Certainly he married Ann Eudey in Redruth 1863 (5c 422) they left for Australia on the Golden City which left Plymouth on 17th October 1864 arriving in Queensland 3/01/1865 Passenger lists check out.

I have got the family of William and Thomasin (Henry' parents) which includes a Henry which I have assumed is mine but I cannot find total proof. There is some indications that henry could have been married prior to his marriage to Ann and that his first wife might have been an Eliza or Elizabeth and that she died earlier in the year i.e. 1863 that Henry and Ann got married. However Henry was born in 1843 travelled to Australia and died there in 1867, just 24 years old so he got a lot into his short life.

I wonder if there is any chance you have access to information on Henry? I believ his father William was the agent at Wheal Kitty mine.
