Hermann Berthold Albert SCHULLER was born abt 1833 in Parchwitz, Silesia, Prussia. He arrived on the Albert to Adelaide 1959. He married Ernestine Caroline Bertha FRANKE (b. 3 Jun 1836). They appear on the Hamburg Passenger List entry - SCHULLER Hermann 1859 Hamburg Passenger List which shows an Ernestine (wife, 26 yo) and Julius (son).

His naturalisation in SA on 10 Sep 1859 states he had been in SA for 1 week and was a native of Parchwitz, Lower Silesia, Germany, age 25 where he had the occupation of Refiner. Now a farmer at Deep Creek in SA.

He died at Port Augusta (where he was a resident) on 1 Aug 1903 leaving six sons (one of whom is also called by the same name) and 4 daughters (according to a newspaper obituary and my own investigations through the SA BDM online at the SA genealogy and heraldry association). I have all the info from the SA BDM so do not need that.

My problem is that some people seem to be placing him as a child of Christian SCHULLER (1793- 1881) who married Anna Maria FECHNER (1796 - 1884). (I see this connection in general google searches but can not link through to the links that lead onto Ancestry) However in the book written by Roy T. SCHULLER "The story of the emigration of the Schuller and Schirmer families and their descendents in Australia 1856-1987" there is no mention of such a familial connection. Yet by the same token that same book mentions that an early ancestor was emphatic that all SCHULLER's are related. I do not have access to Ancestry and can not get to any libraries due to the distance involved. I have tried the free access this weekend on ancestry.de to see if I could find any birth records but have come up empty - possibly because that area is now Poland.

I would like to prove or disprove the claim by some that he is a child of Christian SCHULLER and Anna Maria FECHNER and all help would be appreciated.
