Herring, Stubbs, Daniel Melton Smith these are the ancestors that I am mostly interested in. Any help will be much appreciated. I have a lot of Stubbs info, as I got lucky and found a book on them plus I still had some very old relatives alive when I first started a long time ago. I am willing to share info for help or info. My Herrings were from the Robeson County, NC area and were very private people. Looking for more info on Daniel M. Herring & Celia Hamilton. The Smith's came up from Horry County, South Carolina. My Grandfather ended up in Tarboro, NC Edgecombe County.
