Born in Wales..my mum rem a story about a robert roberts being a station master. I think Samuel Lewis Roberts was born around 1865 in Liverpool...

My grandma was called Kate a Ormsby she also had been married before to a Mr Lloyd they were from Roscommon in Ireland..

found Robert Roberts
BIRTH 17 OCT 1874 • Llanuwchllyn, Merionethshire.
DEATH 3 AUGUST 1933 • Tyn Ddol, Corwen, Merionethshire
on the 1911 census he is a station master living 8 Station House Llandrillo Merioneth plus i found his railway employment records
any more info on your grandma, dates, where they were married, places etc would be of great help

also found samuel lewis with dad samuel who was born in wales and mum kate ann born in roscommon on the 1881 cencus. 1891 samuel has died and kate is living with samuel lewis and wife mary (jones) and their children kate a, samuel r and baby lewis a
hope this is the family
i have so far not found railway conection to this family

Thank you markav yes this is the correct family I'm away till tomoz will post then all the info I have up to now..I no Samuel's dad was called Robert Roberts but can't be the right 1 cos it's the same age as his son...
