Have you looked for her on the 1881 census, or for her birth reg.
WELL , 2 of us have been searching for you re john Brereton father of sarah Brereton. all I,ve come up with is that they are part of the wybunbury breretons. tried the best . cheers anne
Adding on to my pm to you, there are records that suggest that Thomas, father of Thomas born 1816, married Ellen born 1819, had 5 or more children. Its suggested his father was James born 1788 who married Hannah Goodman Jan 23rd 1816, they only had the one child Thomas. There are question marks as to whether James father was John or Joseph or Samuel. You will need to check these records to see if they are the family you want. Ann.
Thanks for your replies :O) I came across this SARAH during a search for another, and she didnt seem to fit in anywhere lol. I commenced my tree 3 years ago and have just got back to it, but i keep swapping and changing how I'm doing it and tend to confuse myself even more lol....... I've gone back to the year 808 previously all scribbled on paper, now i'm converting all to excel files, and completing the extended family... ie kids of kids etc etc..... I'm currently doing Martha Hughes and omg that family is huge!!!!!
It can be so frustrating cant it ? you do need Sarah's birth certificate & her marriage certificate, that puts you on the right foot. I have found that some times the witnesses at a wedding can also be helpful. I now have 3 full folders on just one family, mind boggling. Good luck
