And there was a Hilda M STEVENSON married to Francis David PEATLING in Fremantle Western Australia in 1929.

There was only one birth recorded for a Hilda M STEVENSON in Western Australia and I expect this will be your Hilda May STEVENSON.

Francis David PEATLING died 1992 in Yangebup, Western Australia, but I have not located the death of his wife Hilda.

Thank you for that info. I am now looking for where her birth mother was born. Her name is Nellie Amelia Franks and according to info I have she was born in Quorn, South Aust, and was 22 when she had mum in 1909. Any further help would be greatly appreciated,

There was a marriage for Nellie A FRANKS to Frederick H J WALTER in Western Australia in 1909. Hard to say if this is the mother of Hilda May FRANKS because Hilda was also born in 1909.

Do you have any other details on Nellie to assist with further searches?

I have found a newspaper article from the Kalgoorlie Miner, 9th Aug 1909 on that marriage, with mention of parents H & M.N Franks of Quorn, SA, and an uncle H Lockton of Narrogin WA. I can find no more info on these people.
When she had mum, she was 22 and said she was born in Quorn, SA, according to documents from DCP. On these documents there is no further info
