Hinton IN Missouri and North Carolina

I've run into a bit of a brick wall on my ggggGrandfather (CHRISTOPHER HINTON) who died in Randolph County Missouri, and was previously from Caswell County North Carolina. I'll be taking my 3rd research trip through Randolph, Macon, and Putnam counties in Missouri from 6/1 - 6/5. I haven't found anything on Christopher just yet, but I will continue to search.
