History Genealogy of the Family of Julia Clementine Rowe

I have had little success in discovering where my great-grandmother's family came from before settling down in Watauga County, or in County nearby to what would become Avery Co., NC in 1911. She was born Julia Clementine Rowe. Her parents were John M. Rowe and Rhoda (Rhonda?) Rowe. Julia Clementine Rowe married David Riddle. Their children were John Preston, Luther, Arthur and Victor. I am particularly stuck on the parentage and ancestry of of Julia's parents. If anyone has any information that would be helpful I would be very appreciative. Thank you.

Hi, The 1880 USA Census records the Family in Shawnee Haw, Watauga. Both Julia's parents record their own place of birth as North Carolina but also their parent's place of birth as North Carolina. Julias death record states her mother's maiden name as Rhoda Wise. Do you have access to the death records of John Roe and Rhoda Wise Roe? They may reveal their parents.
