Hi Everyone,
There are so many different spellings of our name we had Edward Holehen arriving in Australia we think 1859/ 1860 he sponsored his brother Patrick who arrived in Sydney in 1864 on the Morning Star at some time they moved to Bathurst Edward married Mary Connolly and Patrick married Susan Reynolds in the next few years Edward's surname became Hoolahan and Patrick's Holahan. Patrick moved to Manly and Edward to Orange we think more family came to Australia because the was 8 years between the brothers and that is very odd in Irish Families.
