Do you have the names of the 3 grand aunts that were taken to America? If you have any Dates of birth or dates of any kind like what year did they come to America? Where did they live before they came to America? If you have any dates about when they were born or how old were they when they came? It might help, but if you don't have names or dates then it might just they may be lost, but I will try to help, but I would need names and dates. smith41
Thank you for offering to help. The names & dates for my grand aunts were: Mary Cullen, d.o.b. 1st April 1863 Julia Cullen, d.o.b. 18th June 1865 Bridget Cullen, 3rd January 1868 Their parents were, Patrick Cullen & Catherine Lennox. They were born near Fontstown, Co.Kildare, Ireland. They were not on the 1901 census so had left Ireland before that. Family lore says that one of them was married to a Frank Ganley & another to either a Broghan or a Groghan. I have tried to find them on the Ellis Island or Castle gardens records but no luck. Ancestry has thousands of records for Cullen's with those first names, its like looking for a needle in a haystack. Thanks again. From Christine in a winter wonderland in Finland.
