Huitara
Paraone Huitara alias "John Brown" was the second husband of Kataraina Stanaway they had several children the fifth child was my great grandmother Te Auraki Huitara alias "Hana".
If anyone has anymore information regarding the names just mentioned would be greatly appreciated.

Paraone (John Brown) HUITARA was either born 1840/1853 Wairoa, Auckland, New Zealand --OR-- abt 1857 Pawarenga, Auckland, New Zealand. Parents names Huitara and Marara Tumaomao.
He may have married Kataraina in 1864 at Wairoa.
He might have had a brother named Rokena born abt 1854 Pawarenga.
Sorry, can't be more definite about information. You will have to pump your rellies for info on whanau/whakapapa.
