Rosetta Marie Humphreys, 65

CHESTER-Rosetta Marie Humphreys, 65, of Chester, W.Va., passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2015.

Born on July 9, 1949 in Lisbon, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late John and Ruth (Cehrs) Winters.

Surviving are her husband, Charles Humphreys of Chester; a son, John (LaDawn) Humphreys of Salem; a daughter, Charlotte (Ralph) Schmidt of Salineville; nine grandchildren, Amber, Josh, Brittany, Chance, Alexis, Kasinda, J.D., Emily, Kelly; four great-grandchildren, Trenton, Makayla, Payton, Serenity; four sisters, Evelyn Hall of Leetonia, Janet Dalton of Virginia, Cheryl Winters of Salem, Dolores Witherow of East Palestine.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Marie Cantwell.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 10, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at the Nixon Funeral Home in Newell, W.Va., where her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2015. Burial will follow at Lisbon Cemetery, Lisbon, Ohio.
