I Am After as Much Information I Can Find About Celestina Ada O Keeffe O Keefe Married Name Bailey
My great grandmother Celestina Ada Bailey (nee O'Keeffe/O'Keefe) was born in Armidale NSW Australia in 1900. Her mother was Elizabeth O'Keeffe (O'Keefe) nee Blaxell. Her father was John O'Keefe. They were married in Macleay River NSW Australia. I have been told her biological mother was actually an Aboriginal woman named Charlotte, who was 'sent' to Carrington (unsure if this is Carrington Newcastle or Carrington province of Karuah both in NSW Australia) I am looking for as much information regarding the the true history of my family. If anyone can assist I would greatly appreciate it.
