Ole Torgerson came to the USA in 1882 with several brothers. He was born in NORWAY, worked on the GAARD FARM in EKER NORWAY before coming to USA. They came on a cattle boat,landed in NEW YORK. I know nothing about the brothers. Ole came to Chipewa Falls Wisconsin then on to HAYWARD WISCONSIN where he met his wife THEA THORSEN. They lived and raised a large family in HAYWARD. Ole had to change his name to GORUD when he came through immigration because the man had already had too many TORGERSONS come through for the day. Ole died in 1921, Thea 1939.I really need help here, I can't find ant info.
