I Am Looking for Information on Alexander Findlater He Lived IN Sagi

I am looking for information on Alexander Findlater. He lived in Saginaw in about 1850 then moved to Midland where he married and owned and ran Findlater House Hotel. He died of an overdose of Chloral Hydrate in 1878. I need his exact date and place of birth and naturalization or immigration records. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
