Smith, of Rangiora was united in matrimony to Miss Mabel Trott, oldest daughter of Mr. G. Trott, of Kapua. Rev. G. Stockwell officiated, and the service was choral. The bride was attired in a cream corded silk costume over a pretty lace and pearl-trimmed vest, and wore a creme hat with ostrich plume. She was attended by her two sisters, the Misses Violet and Ruby Trott, who wore smart frocks of grey with grey hats circled with pink rosebuds. All carried bouquets of lovely white flowers with sprays of smilax. The bridegroom was attended by Mr C. A. Dartnall as best man, whilst his brother, Mr Ralph Smith, acted as groomsman. Mr Trott gave his daughter away. The wedding march was played by Miss Cameron as the happy couple left the Church. A reception was held at the conclusion of the ceremony at Miss Willetts's tea-rooms where the usual toasts were honoured.
