William Barrett was born in 1750 and died 1832. He was the High Sheriff of County Sligo in Ireland in 1793. He had eight or nine children, Two of the brothers came to Tasmania around 1832, one of which was my G Grandfather "James", The other William never married. A third Son was a ships Captain, a fourth was a Colonel in the British army in India.
