I Am Looking for the Parents of William M Mcburney B 12 Feb 1809 PA Death 29 July 1888 Carroll CO KY Burial Family Farm

Spouse: Catherine Mitchell (1814-18871)
Sister : Jane McBurney (Fogg) (1817-1882)
Father: Alexander McBurney b. Ireland
Mother : Margaret
The info I have concerning his parents I feel is wrong. I do think the names are correct but are different people. I have Alexander McBurney (1776-1840) and Mary Laughlin as step mom (1776-1857) however dates just dont add up !

Any help appreciated.
