I am researching my family history and the Redpath family from Scotland. Alexander Redpath, Ridpath, He was in the Berwickshire Militia, and married Jean McBain on 30 August 1805, in Endinburgh, her father was Jas. McBain who was a gardener at Stobo Castle, Alexander and Jean had four children, Mary Born 1806 Inveresk, William Born 1809 Edinburgh, next child ????? then Brydone or Braden born 1817 Coldstream, Scotland.
