I am researching the "Rickard" family of Cornwall. In particular I am looking at family members who lived broadly in the following villages: Newquay, St. Enoder, St. Stephens in Brannel, Colan, Quintrell Downs, St. Columb Major and Minor, Cubert, Newlyn East and St. Austell. Most originally came from St. Enoder and spread to nearby locations from around 1600. By the mid 1800s, some moved to canada, Minesota US, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. Anyone who has "Rickard" family members from these Cornish villages, i would be much like to get in touch and exchange data.

i have just found my 3rd great grandfather william phillips married ann rickard. They had a son John Phillips who married Margaret Evans on 8th November 1833 in Llanelly. Caaramarthenshire Wales. John was born at St Austell Cornwell in early 1800s. I dont know anything about thre parents but after margarets death John immigrated to Austalia with his son Ben. John died in Australia in 1865
