Rosalie Remel is my great-great grandmother. I am also having a hard time finding information on her. My great grandmother is Eunice Broussard Gauthier, mother of my grandfather Clifford Gauthier.
My father tells me that Eunice was full-blooded Native American, but I am having a difficult time finding proof of that since their name was Broussard.
