I Can Find a Record of the Death of My 3 X Great Grandfather Edward Wren Born IN Maidstone Kent England About 1801 but Why Can I Not Find Any Record...
He was married twice and from his second marriage record his father is listed as Thomas Wren (deceased). His second wife was Anne Eaglestone. They were married in 1840.
Hi, my name is Jean Carrick and am also a Family History fan. first looked at I.G.I. and found details you probably already have, i.e. Edward and Ann Eaglestone marrying 28th July 1840 Dartford, Kent. still living there 1841-1861 [didn't look any further on this] then their children Thomas, James, Louisa and George. Ann's Father was William Eaglestone. Edward definitely appears to have been born in 1801 in Maidstone but couldn't find that individually listed on the IGI. There is a 3month free trial Gold Membership on www.thegenealogist.co.uk and I know there is a lot of info on there but I couldn't access it because I am not a member.
