I'm looking for Charles Ralph who died 27 Jun 1973 Huntingdon,

Query by Kathleenedith

My Mum gave me a date of birth for Charles Ralph as 5 Jul 1904 Wandsworth, Surrey, England, but I can't find a Birth record for him and there for I don't know who his parents are. I'm not even sure if he was buried or cremated. My Mum doesnt remember either. So if someone can look for me It would really help.
Thank-you
Kathleen

There is this birth reference on www.freebmd.org.uk , free to search

Births Sep 1905 (>99%)
Ralph Charles Wandsworth 1d 777

date of birth could be July 1905 rather than 1904 you will need to purchase the certificate to verify the details.

Hi

You also have to remember that if you got the date of birth from the death record

Name: Charles Ralph
Birth Date: 5 Jul 1904
Date of Registration: Apr-May-Jun 1973
Age at Death: 68
Registration district: Huntingdon
Inferred County: Huntingdonshire
Volume: 4b
Page: 1019

The birth information is given by the informant named on the death certificate so in some cases this can be incorrect. Therefore I would say the birth info provided by asheppard is a good bet.
