I M Working on This

I started Looking into the family history two and one half weeks ago!!
So I have zero experience on this endeavor!
My mother happened upon some old pictures on my father's side of the family which I brought home and scanned into the computer. I then thought about the boxes of photos that have been waiting for me to organize. I scanned all of the old photos about ten years ago for my sisters. I also scanned the old family photos on my husband's side a couple of years ago. Now is the time!! Instead of waiting for time to start the project (as there is never time) I decided to play around on ancestry.com. I have a few notes from mom,dad, aunt's and my grandmother. I never really looked at the information as I didn't ever have the time to get started!!
I have found that I could spend hours sitting at a computer finding family!! I am simply amazed at the amount of "shirt tail cousins" I have found!! The connecting family members is pretty easy, the harder/slower part is the research and documentation. I'm way to obsessive to completely trust that the information on line is perfect!!
