I Need Assistance IN Finding Family
I am looking for my husbands(Dale Thomas) father and family. His mother is Clara Thomas she said that his fathers name was Micheal Fitzner(not sure on spelling). She thought he was from Trenton, N.J. He worked in the factory in Bristol, Pa. where they built airplane parts (can't remember the name) in around 1952.
I thought I could help but you can let me know Ok, I did find 5 Michael Fitzer. I am not sure of the spelling but I did put it in several ways and this is the only way it came up. But I don't think the dates corresponds to what you think.
Michael Alan Fitzer died in California, Michael Dean Fitzer died in Oklahoma. Michael R. Ritzer died in New York, and 2 died in Ohio Michael Stephen Fitzer, Jr, and Sr, both died in Ohio, I did find a M. R. Fitzer buried in the Riverside Cemetery , Hughes County, South Dakota Find a grave memorial # is 86963949 There are 2 others in the same cemetery named Frank Fitzer Find a grave memorial # 72926650 and the other is Selah DeWitt Fitzer Find a grave memorial # 87315784. Let me know if these are right, if not please let me know and I will try to find him but literally I search the whole USA to find Michael but those 5 are all the ones that came up, However it may mean that he might not have passed away or maybe the cemetery has not been read. I don't know for sure or maybe he is buried in a potter's grave, and maybe the name has been altered sometimes they make the last name misspelled so that no one can find him but I will keep trying to see how the last name is spelled and that is probably the answer. but if you have any other information and I will see what I can come up with. smith41
I don't think they are the ones. The only information I have is a name Michael(spelling) Fitzner not sure on the spelling. He worked in Bristol, Pa. in 1952-53 at Karser or Keiser Industry where they made plane parts. His mom met him when she worked in a restaurant near the plant. She said he was from Trenton, N.J. thats all the info we have. If we could get employee records from there for that rime line maybe we could find him but they have been closed for a long time and I don't know if they were a part of a bigger firm or not.

Hello, Charlotte I may have some good news and then some bad. I did some checking and found that the Kaiser-Fleetwings was an American Aircraft
Company Of the 1930's and 40's. The Plant Closed in 1962 and was demolished to make way for new housing. And it was located in Bristol, Pa. I found this article on Kaiser on Wikipedia. I also found a Michael L. "Grace" Fetzner and he is the only one I found, but his date of birth is 1966, and died 1987. Sp/4 U.S. Army. Buried in Wattsburg Cemetery, Erie Co, Pa. Find a grave Memorial # is 81092681. I went to Familysearch.com and found this: Emil Michael Fetzner B. 1 Jan 1933 phone # 201-666-4357-recorded date 25 March 2008 address 660 Pascack Rd Twp Washington, New Jersey. Other address is 22 Hillside Ave. Stockholm New Jersey. Possible relatives: Annaliee Fetzner, Curt E Fetzner, Lisa a Fetzner, and Patricia Fetzner.
Also M. Fetzner also known as M.C. Rodriguez - 1996-1997 Resident date. North Bergen, New Jersey, ph# 201-861-8474- July 1, 2005 address- 405 76th St. North Bergen, New Jersey. Possible relatives : Joseph Vaugh Rodriguez, Mary P Fetzner, Milagras Rodriguez
I also did find that there are Fetzner's in Pennsylvania - 75 buried in there cemeteries, Illinois - 17 , Michigan -7. Florida-2, Minnesota -9, Maryland -1and Nebraska- 16. I also found there are no Fetzner's in New Jersey, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Mass, D.C., and Maine.
Also it could be his real last name could be Michael Rodriguez, I have not check that yet, but more than likely you may need a date of birth or death, considering that there may be more than one of Michael Rodriguez. But if he did live in Bristol, PA then we could narrow it down so to speak. If you need me to do more research please let me know, Ok. smith41
As far as we know he lived in trenton nj.. You found more than i did. My husband is 62 birthday is feb 1953. All we know is what I put in the message before this.

Do you have of a copy of your husband Dales birth certificate, it should give fathers name. It might be a good place to start.
it doesn't have the fathers name. he was born in Bristol, Pa
